1. Core Structure & Components

A. Screw Feeding Conveyor (Powder Elevating System)

  • Bulk Hopper & Base Frame (Left Section): A large, conical stainless steel hopper holds bulk raw powder, mounted on a wheeled, mobile stainless steel frame for easy positioning and cleaning. It features a built-in agitator to prevent powder bridging and ensure consistent flow into the conveyor tube.
  • Inclined Auger Conveyor Tube: A sloped, enclosed stainless steel tube houses a rotating auger screw. Driven by a motor at the base, it lifts powder vertically from the bulk hopper to the filling machine’s main hopper, eliminating manual handling and reducing dust exposure.
  • Adjustable Speed Control: The conveyor speed can be adjusted via a control knob to match the filling rate, preventing overfilling or starvation of the main hopper.
 

B. Auger Filling Head & Main Machine Body (Center Section)

  • Main Filling Hopper: A transparent, enclosed conical hopper stores powder fed from the conveyor, allowing operators to monitor powder levels. It also includes an internal agitator to maintain uniform powder density for consistent dosing.
  • Servo-Driven Auger Dosing Unit: The core of the machine. A precision auger screw meters powder volume by controlled rotation, driven by a high-torque servo motor. It offers an accuracy of ±1–2%, with adjustable auger speeds and rotation counts for different fill weights.
  • Adjustable Filling Nozzle: The filling spout is designed to minimize dust during dispensing. It can be swapped out to fit different container sizes, and its height is adjustable to align with various bottle heights.
  • Height-Adjustable Machine Base: The main frame is built with corrosion-resistant stainless steel, featuring adjustable legs to align the filling nozzle with containers and reduce vibration during operation.


C. Control & Weighing Feedback System (Right Section)

  • Touchscreen HMI Control Panel: The user-friendly interface allows operators to set fill weight, production speed, and auger parameters. It stores multiple product recipes for quick changeovers and displays real-time production data, such as fill count and error alerts.
  • Standalone Weighing Scale: A high-precision electronic scale is connected to the control system, providing real-time weight feedback. Operators place containers on the scale during filling to verify and fine-tune dosing accuracy, making it ideal for applications requiring strict weight control.
  • Safety Features: Emergency stop button, overload protection for the auger motor, and safety guards on moving parts ensure safe operation.


D. Quick-Change Accessories

  • Interchangeable Augers: Multiple auger screws of different sizes are included, allowing operators to switch between small-volume (e.g., 10g) and large-volume (e.g., 5kg) fills without specialized tools.
  • Tool-Free Disassembly: All product-contact parts (hopper, auger, nozzle) are detachable for easy cleaning and sanitization, critical for food and pharmaceutical applications.

2. Working Principle & Process Flow

  1. Powder Feeding: Bulk powder is loaded into the screw feeder’s hopper. The inclined auger conveyor lifts the powder to the filling machine’s main hopper, where the agitator ensures consistent flow.
  2. Container Placement: Operators manually place empty containers under the filling nozzle and position them on the weighing scale (for accuracy checks).
  3. Auger Dosing: The auger screw rotates under servo control, metering a precise volume of powder into the container. The scale provides real-time weight feedback, allowing the system to adjust the auger’s rotation for fine-tuning.
  4. Cycle Completion: Once the preset fill weight is achieved, the auger stops. The operator removes the filled container and replaces it with an empty one to repeat the cycle.
